Fun Dog Show – Fun Facts

We love looking through the fun dog show registration papers after the event and hope you enjoy these fun facts:

🐶Total number of dogs registered = 144
🐶There were 37 rescue dogs
🐶There were 38 dogs aged under 1 year; the youngest was a Cockerpoo called Ruby
🐶There were 5 dogs aged over 10; the oldest was a lovely little Jack Russell called Poppy
🐶Poppy was also the most popular name. There were 4 of them
🐶The top three breeds were
12 – Chihuahua
8 – Labrador
7 – Springer Spaniel
🐶We had 25 cross breeds where no specific name was given and an additional 18 named crosses
🐶The most unusual name was Dubhlainn (pronounced Dove-Lin). It is an Irish word meaning Black Sword and belonged to a beautiful Labrador
🐶We had 2 of the most unusual breed – a Finnish Lapphund. These are traditionally used to herd reindeer and they were beautifully represented by 8 month old Aspen and 3 year old Keela

One young lady went away very happy with one more dog than she arrived with ❤️❤️ The best behaved dog of the day – his name was correctly guessed as Rocky by young dog lover Amber.
